Recorvita is a free app where you keep your own medical records: lab results, medications and doses, doctors, appointments and procedures. You start with a photo of one paper slip. You can export or delete everything, whenever you want. Recorvita organizes and displays your documents — it never interprets them.
No fees, no ads, no data selling. An email address is all you need to start.

What you can store
What can you keep in Recorvita?
Everything that makes up your medical history, not just lab results. It's your copy, and it travels with you to every doctor and every country.
Documents
Lab reports, hospital discharge summaries, ultrasound, CT and MRI descriptions, prescriptions, doctors' notes. PDF, JPG or PNG. A type, a title and a date are enough.
Results on a chart
Enter a value once and watch it over time: full history, 3, 6 or 12 months. Creatinine and eGFR first, more parameters later.
Medications and doses
Drug, dose, schedule, who prescribed it, from when and until when. Written down once, always at hand in the consulting room.
Doctors, visits, procedures
Specialty, clinic, contact, dates, what was done and what came of it — described in your words or your doctor's.
A summary for the visit
One page: conditions, medications, latest results. Show it on your phone or print it before the appointment. No more starting the story from zero.
A link that expires
Share selected results for 7 days. Revoke with one tap. You see who opened them and when.
How to start
How do your records get in?
The most common reason people abandon an app like this is retyping. So a photo is enough for the document to be yours — typing numbers is optional.

The boundary
Is Recorvita a medical device?
No. Recorvita stores and displays what you entered yourself, together with the ranges copied from your documents. Software that judges results can fall under EU medical device rules — and, more to the point for you, it starts making decisions on your behalf. Ours doesn't.
- It does not interpret a result. We show the flag and the range printed on your document.
- It does not calculate a disease stage (G1–G5, for example) or make a diagnosis.
- It does not raise alerts because of a value, or tell you to call a doctor.
- It does not flag drug interactions. That's a clinical decision, not an app feature.
Recorvita is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Reminders about medications, appointments and test dates are reminders, not recommendations. Ask your doctor about any result. The framework that applies here: Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR) and the MDCG 2019-11 guidance.
Privacy
Who can see your records?
By default, nobody but you. Health data is special-category data under GDPR Article 9, and we treat it that way: we collect the minimum, we show you everything, and nothing leaves without your explicit consent.
You see who, and when
An access log records every opening of a shared link and every clinician view. You revoke consent from one place.
Nothing leaves without consent
Everything is private by default. Sharing is always chosen, scoped, and expires on its own.
You can take it all out
A full export: a readable PDF for people and a machine-readable file to move elsewhere. That's the right to portability, not a courtesy.
Delete means delete
Deleting the account removes documents and results from the database and from file storage. We'll offer you a copy first.
Encrypted in transit and encrypted at rest. Role-based access, full event logging, backups. We run no ads, we don't profile you, and we don't sell data — to anyone, ever.
For clinicians and dietitians
The patient decides what you see, and for how long.
You get a link or an invitation. You see an organized history instead of an envelope of paper: source documents, values over time, and reference ranges transcribed from the original reports. Recorvita judges nothing on your behalf and suggests nothing.

Who's building this

Recorvita is built alongside KidneyGlobal.org, a patient organization working on kidney disease. Hence the first lens: creatinine, eGFR, ACR. But the record itself is general from day one, because nobody has exactly one condition and nobody wants two apps.
There is no investor who needs a return on your data. The app is free because the point of it is that everyone who needs it can use it. Two costs could one day force a paid add-on, and we'll say so plainly: automatic reading of documents, and very large file storage. It will never be access to your own data, or the export of it.

Frequently asked questions
Is Recorvita really free?
Yes. Keeping your record, manual entry, charts, the visit summary, sharing and export are free for everyone, with no time limit. Recorvita is built alongside the patient organization KidneyGlobal. If a paid tier ever appears it will cover the two things that genuinely cost money to run — automatic reading of uploaded documents, and very large file storage — never access to your own data.
Is Recorvita a medical device?
No. Recorvita stores and displays what you entered, together with the reference ranges printed on your own documents. It does not interpret results, calculate disease stages such as G1 to G5, diagnose, flag drug interactions, or suggest treatment or consultations. Software that performs those functions can fall under EU medical device rules, so none of them will ship without a regulatory specialist's review.
Who can see my medical records?
By default, only you. A clinician sees something only when you create a share link or an invitation, with a scope and an expiry date that you choose. A family caregiver gets access only on your explicit instruction. Every opening is written to an access log you can read, and you can revoke access at any time.
Do I have to type in every result?
No. A photo of the paper slip is enough for the document to be stored, tagged and shareable. You only enter numeric values for the parameters you want to see on a chart, and it is better to start with one or two than to try to enter twelve.
How is Recorvita different from my clinic's patient portal?
A clinic portal holds the records that clinic produced. Recorvita holds your copy of everything, from every clinic, public and private, in any country. It stays with you when you change doctor, change city or change health system, and you can export or delete it whenever you want.
What happens to my data if I stop using Recorvita?
You can export everything with one action: a readable PDF for people and a machine-readable file you can take to another system. Deleting your account removes your documents and results from the database and from file storage. It is a real deletion, not a support request.
Does Recorvita work outside Poland?
Yes. Recorvita is not wired into any single national health system. It is your own copy of your own documents, so it works the same after you move or when you are treated in more than one country. The interface is available in Polish and English.
Can a caregiver manage records for a family member?
Yes, that is a planned first-class use case. The person who owns the record grants access explicitly, the caregiver's access is scoped, and every action is recorded in the same access log the owner can read.
